Kristine Cicchetti & Emily Ross
Northeast Early Childhood Council

Kristine Cicchetti, Regional Director of the Northeast Early Childhood Council (NECC).   Kristine has worked with the Northeast Early Childhood Council since 2013 and serves as their Regional Director.     Kristine works with school leadership from the six towns that make up the NECC to coordinate a regional council’s day-to-day operations.  In building strategic partnerships, they develop strategies, implement actions, and coordinate efforts to promote effective programs and policies to address early childhood education, the social, emotional, and physical health of children and families.

Emily Ross, School Readiness Liaison, McKinney-Vento Liaison, and Killingly Family Resource Center (FRC) Site Coordinator.  Emily has over 16 years’ experience in Early Childhood Education and addressing community needs.  She serves as the Salvation Army Representative for Killingly and Brooklyn, sits on the Access Community Action Agency Board of Directors, is an active member of the Northeast Early Childhood Council, and is the Killingly Community Store director.  Emily has responded to the communities needs during the pandemic, including re-opening the Community Store, back-to-school backpack distribution, and emergency food distribution while implementing safety procedures and protocols to continue and increase services.
