Ebony Grace
Director of Expanded Learning Opportunities

Ebony D. Grace is the Director of Partnerships and Quality Initiatives for NJSACC: The Statewide Network for New Jersey’s Afterschool Communities. Among her responsibilities are providing professional development and technical assistance to licensed childcare providers; quality coaching; program evaluation and assisting agencies with developing and implementation of systems to support quality programming.  Prior to joining NJSACC, Ebony worked for the NJ Department of Education as a program officer for 21st Century Community Learning Centers and Even Start Family Literacy program grants, helping to implement quality out-of-school time programs.

For over ten years, Ebony worked at various programs in Philadelphia, PA and NJ for the Upward Bound program assisting first-generation students in their goals to graduate high school and obtain post-secondary education. She has a Master’s degree in Family Therapy from and experience as a practicing family therapist. In 2015, Ebony was selected as White-Riley-Peterson Policy Fellowship. In 2019, The National Afterschool Association welcomed Ebony as one of two newly elected Board of Directors members. She also has a diploma in Baking and Pastry from the Art Institute of Philadelphia. She and her husband live in southern NJ with their dog and tortoise.
