Claire Conroy
Consultant, SERC

Claire has just completed one year at SERC as a consultant, where her main focus is on SLD/Dyslexia. She is very proud to be a dyslexia practitioner and a member of the International Dyslexia Association. Recognizing the great need for more support, she recently became a Certified Google Trainer and works to train educators on everything from creating interactive Slides to teacher websites.

Claire has collaborated on trainings ranging from virtual engagement strategies to assistive technology tools and accessible educational materials and everything in between. Before coming to SERC, Claire taught special education at the elementary and middle school level for seven years. In her spare time, Claire is a doctoral student researching the intersectionality of race and specific learning disabilities in Connecticut. She holds a master’s degree in Instructional Design and Technology.
